In addition to selling GSI and other well known grain equipment brands, we also design and manufacture our own product line in house. You can expect high quality fabrication work and everything we fabricate is Made in the USA.
BGS Overhead Structures
We fabricate in house and sell overhead tank loadout structures and can ship them anywhere in the US. Typically we will put a 15’ or 18’ GSI hopper tank on top of these structures. 15’ and 18’ are by far the most common size of loadout structures that we fabricate but we can design and custom size that you need.
Standard Loadout Structure Features
- All components are Hot Dipped Galvanized for longevity, much better than any painted finish.
- 15’ and 18’ structures are standard but nearly any custom size can be built
- Bolted Design, no welding on site required

BGS Square Tanks & Square Bins
We fabricate in house and sell custom square tanks and square bins and can ship them anywhere in the US. These tanks can range from small surge tanks for a feed mill application or larger 50 ton tanks for bulk storage. We do not have a cataloged product line but rather all of the tanks we build are custom and designed to the customers needs and specifications.
Square Tanks & Square Bins Features
- Painted or Galvanized Finish
- Solid welded design. Wall panels have stiffeners for added strength.
- BGS welds both sides of the seam on the hopper for extra strength.
- Typically we use 10 GA or 7GA wall panels but can use any thickness per the customer.
- Up to 12’ square and 50’ long/tall.
- Complete cleanout with a 45 or 60 degree hopper.
- Can be configured with ladder, manholes, or any other features like full/empty switches.
- Custom square tanks will be designed in 3D Solidworks so customers can visualize and approve.

BGS Dump Pits/Hoppers/Grates
We fabricate in house and sell custom dump pits/grates. These hoppers and grates are built to withstand years of heavy traffic from loaded semis. These dump pits/grates go on top of pit conveyors or receiving pits. We also can fabricate the pit hopper underneath the dump grate. We can design and fabricate nearly any size for nearly any application.
Custom Dump Pits/Hoppers/Grates
- Typically plain finish.
- Can include embed studs for extra strength.
- Solid welded design. ½” thick cross bars are typically used.
- For deeper pits where man access is required we design a small section of grating so that it is removable.
- BGS can fabricate nearly any size of grates or pit hopper as required.
- Custom dump pits/hoppers/grates will be designed in 3D in Solidworks so customers can visualize and approve.
